Richard W. Moses, 73, of Menomonie, passed away Thursday, November 8th, 2018 after a long struggle with dementia.
He was born on March 15th, 1945 in Eau Claire, WI, to Willard and Doris Moses. Growing up on the family dairy farm, he developed a life-long interest in caring for the land and animals.
He graduated high school from Eau Claire Memorial and graduated from UW Stout and UW River Falls. After college, he continued to farm and had a long career as an Agriculture and Industrial Arts High School teacher in Plum City, Durand and Stanley-Boyd school districts.
He married Kathleen Miller on November 8th, 1972, and they had two sons, Clinton and Jordan.
Richard is survived by his sister, Marilee Moses (Mike Hamilton); nephew, Jason Bennett; stepdaughter Renee (Michael) Kramer; sons Jordan (Emily) Moses, Clinton (Nora) Moses; and seven grandchildren: Quinn, Bailey, d’Artagnan, Madison, Maris, Margaux, and Miriam.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Rodney and Frederick.
A family graveside service will be held at the Brunswick Cemetery on Friday, November 16th, at 2:30. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
