Stanley J. Guberud age 89 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 in his daughters home surrounded by his loving family.

Stan was born June 19, 1929 in Jamestown, North Dakota to Ragna E. (nee Solberg) and Milliard Guberud. He served in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Donna R. Kier on June 19, 1952 (he never wanted to forget his anniversary by having it on his birthday). Stan was a professor of mathematics for 40 years at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

He enjoyed many hobbies such as sketching, cartooning, and painting, lapidary, camping, traveling, stamp and coin collecting, brewing and drinking beer, and most importantly genealogy where Guberud/Solberg generations will always be thankful. Stan thankful for everything he had simply and humbly.

Stan is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Donna Guberud; loving children, Dave (Marilyn) Guberud of West Bend and Beth (Mark) Seip of Theresa; cherished grandchildren Kristi (Tim) Schoenbeck and Megan Guberud, dear sibling to Bob (Barb) Guberud, and half-brother Sid (Carolyn) Johnson.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, other relatives and friends.

Private inurnment will be held in Spring Grove, Minnesota.
