Your Chippewa Valley 2019 Bloody Mary Competition

A Leader-Telegram event presented by Silver Spring® Foods, Chippewa River Distillery & Brewster Bros. Brewing Co. and The Eagle's Club Banquet Hall & Conference Center (located at 2588 Hwy 53, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin). Contestants can arrive at 11:00 am, general public at 12:00 noon.

Professional - Those so good at making Bloody Marys that they either work at or are an establishment with a liquor license serving cocktails.

Amateur - Individuals who are passionate about their awesome Bloody Mary and not employed by a bar/restaurant/or place of business where cocktails are served.

Entry fee includes a captive audience thirsting to crown our region's top Bloody Mary delights, a commemorative keepsake framed certificate, 16 oz. Silver Spring Foods glass, 8 ft. table, all the coveted notoriety, and a celebratory ad in the Leader-Telegram putting 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners the center-stage spotlight.....and for The Professional and Amateur who are crowned for 1st Place? A refund of your entry fee! Winners will also receive a prize package from Silver Spring & Chippewa River Distillery.

You will need to make 3 gallons for sampling. Trumie's Vodka (make selection below) will be provided. Drink does not need to contain alcohol, virgin marys are permitted. 

You will be provided with the following: 

 - 1 bottle of Trumie's Vodka (make selection below)
 - 3 oz. to 5 oz. cups for sampling
 - 1 hurricane glass for presentation with your garnish(es)
 - 1 bottle of Silver Spring® product (make selection below)

Mandatory 

Bloody Mary must be made at The Eagle's Club.

Garnishes can be prepared at home because the general public will not be consuming the garnish. You will need one full Bloody Mary with garnish for public display.

Judging

As attendees arrive at the check-in table, each attendee will be given one (1) red poker chip to vote on their favorite professionally made Bloody Mary, and one (1) white poker chip to vote on their favoriteamateur Bloody Mary.

Votes will be tallied at 2:30pm, with winners announced at 3pm preceding the Green Bay game.

Recognition for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places will be awarded and recognized for each category.
