Adam Loomis was a member of the U.S. Team that placed seventh among 10 countries in the the Team Gundersen 5K Nordic Combined event of the World Nordic ski championships on Sunday in Falun, Sweden.

Representing the Flying Eagles ski club, Loomis tied for second on the American team after the jumping and had an 11-minute, 19-second cross country run for a total time of 1:36. Other members of the U.S. Team were Bryan and Taylor Fletcher, of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and Bill DeMong of New York. The Americans finished 2:37 behind the winning German team.
