Three errors led to three unearned runs and the Eau Claire Express fell to the Duluth Huskies 5-1 on Tuesday night in a Northwoods League game that was halted by weather after five innings at Wade Municipal Stadium in Duluth, Minn.

Express starter Nick Davito gave up five runs, only two of them earned, in four innings. The only RBI of the game came from the Huskies’ Vinnie Rodriguez on a third-inning double.

A first-inning error accounted for Eau Claire’s only run. Peter Van Gansen, Jeff Hendrix and Drew Turbin recorded hits for the Express, who play a home-and-home doubleheader with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters today. The first game will be at 12:05 p.m. in Wisconsin Rapids. The second will be at 7:05 p.m. at Carson Park.
