Brett Synek had a two-run single during a six-run seventh inning to help the Mankato MoonDogs to an 8-4 win over the Eau Claire Express in Northwoods League action Saturday night at Franklin Rogers Park in Mankato, Minn. That snapped the Express’ seven-game winning streak.

The Express led 4-2 prior to the MoonDogs’ big seventh. Mankato pushed across six runs on six hits and one run-scoring wild pitch.

Drew Turbin was 3-for-4 for Eau Claire, while Lane Milligan drove in three runs. Brian Mundell homered in the second inning.

Express starter Jordan Ruckman received a no decision after allowing two earned runs on four hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out one.
