Stout baseball ends season
UW-Eau Claire softball fell against St. Thomas in St. Paul on Friday, the Blugolds’ second day of NCAA Tournament action, but earned another shot at the Tommies in the evening.
There was a sense of renewed energy as the UW-Eau Claire softball team took to Bollinger Fields for its practice Tuesday afternoon, especially considering players weren’t certain the tune-up would even be necessary at the start of the day prior.
For the first time since 1996, WIAC men’s tennis programs will be able to compete for a conference title next year. The only hitch is, it won’t be under the WIAC banner.
