Cory Hoglund and Charlie Bleskachek combined to score 48 points as the McDonell boys basketball team overcame a halftime deficit to beat Altoona 73-60 on Friday.

Hoglund scored a game-high 27 points for the Macks, while Bleskachek totaled 21. Bleskachek knocked down five 3-pointers in the win.

Regis 75, Stanley-Boyd 27: The Ramblers had six players hit from deep and three in double digits in a breezy win. JP Wolterstorff led the way with 14.

Durand 72, Mondovi 65: The Panthers slightly edged the Buffaloes on the scoreboard and in 3-pointers. Durand hit 11 times from deep, Mondovi ten times.

Colfax 70, Elmwood/Plum City 70-46: Ben Thompson scored 17 points and George Scharlau added 14 for the Vikings.

River Falls 52, Rice Lake 48: The Wildcats held the Warriors to 17 second-half points as they mounted a comeback.

Fall Creek 60, Cadott 32: Jaren Burghardt and Joey Kinderman led the way for the Crickets with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Spring Valley 57, Elk Mound 42: Mounders’ Marcus Kinblom scored a game-high 22 but Spring Valley’s Dylan Bosshart and Aaron Borgerding combated him with a combined 32.

Lake Holcombe 62, Bruce 60: Connor Checkalski’s 24 wasn’t enough as the Chieftains won a tight back-and-forth game thanks to 15 from Kaden Kinney and 14 from Tristan Jones.

Osseo-Fairchild 55, Thorp 41: Corey Myhers led the Thunder with 16.

Girls basketball

Eleva-Strum 60, Osseo-Fairchild 53: Brianna Nelson scored 18 for the Cardinals.

Bloomer 41, Hayward 40: Sierra Raine scored 18 to lift Bloomer to victory.

Augusta 50, Alma/Pepin 36: Ashlyn Korger scored 23 points to lead the Beavers to victory.
