The Big Rivers will come down to the final day of the regular season in boys hockey.

Eau Claire Memorial earned an impressive 4-1 win against Hudson thanks to three goals from Joe Kelly, while Eau Claire North rolled by Rice Lake 10-1 to continue the teams’ tie atop the league.

Both schools have one BRC game left, with Memorial playing River Falls and North playing Chippewa Falls.

Boys basketball

Eau Claire North 66, Menomonie 50: Ashton Kallstrom scored 17 points as the Huskies bounced back from a loss to Hudson last weekend. Dalton Banks added 13 for North.

Osseo-Fairchild 63, Thorp 56: The Thunder got 20 points from Logan Mulhern and 14 from Cory Myhers.

River Falls 67, Rice Lake 43: The Warriors struggled to slow down Wildcats’ Zac Johnson, who went for 26 points. Peyton Buckley led Rice Lake with 19.

Fall Creek 64, Cadott 53: Cadott’s Mason Poehls scored a game-high 27, but it wasn’t enough to best the Crickets. David Anderson led Fall Creek with 19 points.

Spring Valley 66, Elk Mound 59: Dylan Bosshart’s 24 helped Spring Valley best the Mounders, who were led by Brett Lew with 18.

Eleva-Strum 60, Alma Center Lincoln 59: The Cardinals were led by 14 points from Cade McSorley.

Girls basketball

Immanuel Lutheran 52, New Auburn 27: Emma Miller led the Lancers with 11 as they pulled away in the second. Nadia Rada reached 1,000 career points for New Auburn.

Osseo-Fairchild 57, Altoona 48: Sophiah Filla led the Thunder with 15 points, while Kayla Wiggins had 14 for the Rails.

McDonell 56, Cadott 39: Maggie Craker led the Macks with 23 points.

Bloomer 61, Barron 39: Elle Kramschuster had a game-high 15 points for the Blackhawks.

Eleva-Strum 55, Alma/Pepin 38: Olivia Winjue led the Cardinals with nine points.

Mondovi 61, Elk Mound 54: Ella Poeschele scored 14 as the Buffaloes came back from a six-point halftime deficit.

Fall Creek 59, Stanley-Boyd 52: Emma Ryan had 16 points for the Crickets. Lily Hoel scored 26 for the Orioles.
